Certification

 

The Inalca JBS Spa Quality Management System ensures that all production phases are carried out in full respect of the national and community control standards, not only in terms of product safety, but also in terms of environmental protection. The conformity and suitability of this system is recognised by the following certifications:

 

The ISO 9001/UNI EN ISO 9001:2000 standard specifies the requisites that a quality management system must possess to demonstrate its ability to supply products which conform to customer requisites and to the applicable regulatory prescriptions, and aims to increase customer satisfaction. The objective of this standard is to provide a universal base for quality system management, regardless of the type of company or economic sector in which it is applied.

The ISO 14001/UNI EN ISO 14001:2004 certification demonstrates the company’s concrete commitment to minimising the environmental impact of the manufacturing processes, products and services, and certifies the reliability of the environmental management system adopted.

The BRC (British Retail Consortium) Global Standard Food Issue 4 Grade A is a specific standard of the agricultural and food sector, which aims to guarantee the quality and safety of food products.

Inalca JBS Spa  is also authorised to label its beef products with voluntary information, using the national univocal MIPAF code IT 001 ET in accordance with the methods laid out in EC Regulation no. 1760/2000 of the European Parliament (see the paragraph on traceability).
