Traceability System
Inalca JBS Spa is one of the producers in
the information regarding the origin of each individual bovine animal and
its meat. In conformity with the relative laws in force, the system permits
all the information relative to the product to be gathered, monitored and
documented at any time, linking it to the relative raw materials used.
The traceability system is systematically verified with the national cattle data
bank (register).
The meat traceability and labelling system was the first in
recognised by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry as conforming to
regulation 1760/2000 (authorisation no. IT 001 ET of 22 April 1999).

This recognition allows Inalca JBS Spa to provide the consumer with much detailed
information on its products, which is useful for understanding the effective
quality of the product purchased and finds a formal guarantee of authenticity
in the Inalca JBS Spa specifications. Indeed this information is often not documented,
being.
Inalca JBS Spa carries out numerous checks, both compulsory and voluntary. These
are mainly hygienic, sanitary, chemical and quality checks, carried out at
every level of the production cycle, in particular:
• official sanitary checks;
• hygienic-sanitary self-check (HACCP);
• quality (e.g. “Panel test”) and product checks (e.g. weight, labelling, etc.).
Inalca JBS Spa has installed modern systems at its main slaughtering plants for the
management and recovery of the production cycle by-products (not destined
for the food industry) in the form of thermal energy (steam and hot water).
